‘’Mission South Haiti’’

‘’We’re wishing you a blessed and Happy New Year full of God's marvelous Grace and victory’’.

As usually, we’d like to express our gratitude and many thanks specially the Elders, Deacons and members of the Northeast Church of Christ in Kingsport Tennessee for their courageous oversight and the financial support in and out of season they’ve shared all over the years to the Haiti work.

The holiday period of 2017 has passed, now draws to the New Year 2018. We are reflecting on God's amazing grace and goodness He has shown us around the year 2017. We want to share with you our blessings that have been multiplied by your tremendous prayers and giving.

Second, the Board of trustees and the Delmas Leadership want to thank you all, specially the Central Church of Christ in Sarasota Florida and the Atlanta Road Church of Christ in Gainesville Georgia, brother Bob Patterson and the Southwest congregation in Tigard Oregon for praying for their prayers, and for their support of all kind. With direction and power from God and with your prayers and gifts, we’ll touch more lives in 2018 and baptize large number of people than ever before.

Let’s say that once again: “We exist to (1) see the lost saved and (2) see the Church changed and living in unity by the power of God!”

As evangelistic strategy, the seminars for denominational preachers continue to be the main thrust of our ministry in Haiti and in the Dominican Republic. In 2017, with the help of many more volunteers, we ministered extensively over 45 times with the graduates, the actual students and the Delmas leadership to local churches throughout the country; and as a result a total of 2,359 baptisms between the Delmas congregation and other churches established around the country. At Delmas 43, we’ve registered 105 precious souls who were added to the Lord’s kingdom; our records show 38 young men and women are applying to attend the School of preaching, 280 bibles were distributed to new Christians in the year 2017. We thank God for this tremendous harvest around the year.

There is not space here to relate to you the events that touched my heart out around the last year.

Right now, we are planning of another wonderful seminar for denominational preachers from February 12 through 14, another one from the 8 to the 10th of July, a beautiful 30th Anniversary celebration of the Mission South Haiti work in September 16, and a fruitful preacher’s retreat from November 1st through the 4th, all for 2018. We would appreciate to have you with us participating in one of these events.

We also continue to claim your prayers and financial support on behalf of so many of our brothers and sisters still living in miserable condition and church buildings that need to be rebuilt in the South and Jeremie after the devastating hurricane Matthew. Our God is so compassionate; He will hear their voices one of these days.

There is not enough time to tell you how a ministry needed like ours is in these days. With the year ending, we’re asking two things of you. (1) Make as substantial a gift as possible to our ministry right now and (2) consider supporting our work on a monthly basis.

We’re accomplishing an important mission for the Kingdom of God and we invite you to play an ongoing part with us in 2018 and until the Lord returns for His Kingdom. We look forward to God's plan for this year. As always there are many opportunities on our mission as we seek God's will and clarity to know how we can best fulfill His plan for us and for this ministry. May the Lord direct your steps as He fills your lives with His presence and love?
